Serengeti is a Masai word meaning “plain”.
The Serengeti National Park is the largest park with the biggest population of animals in the world it is also well known for the great wildebeest migration. It begins in the southern Serengeti in Tanzania towards the Masai Mara in Kenya. Serengeti has a lot of wildlife and nature which include diverse habitats, including forests, swamps, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Leopards, Cheetas, Hyenas, Buffalos, Zebras, Lions and many more.
